Der Trafalgar Square ist, touristisch gesehen, ein sehr zentraler Punkt. Fussl\u00e4ufig sind in k\u00fcrzester Zeit (5-10 Minuten) viele Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten erreichbar.
\nDazu geh\u00f6ren Buckingham Palace, Picadilly Cicus, Big Ben, London Eye, Westminster Abbey, China Town. Um nur die wichtigsten und bekanntesten Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten zu erw\u00e4hnen.
\nNat\u00fcrlich geh\u00f6rt hier auch die National Gallery dazu, welche direkt am Trafalgar Square liegt. Neben ihr ist die Kirche St-Martin-in-the-Fields, in der h\u00e4ufig Konzerte stattfinden.<\/p>\n

In der Mitte des Platzes steht ein Denkmal von Admiral Nelson. Dieser besiegte ein franz\u00f6sisch – spanisches B\u00fcndins in der Schlacht von Trafalgar.
\nDie S\u00e4ule ist mit 51 Metern genau so hoch wie Nelsons Flaggschiff HMS Victory lang war. Um die S\u00e4ule sin vier L\u00f6wenskulpturen aus Bronze platziert. <\/p>\n
